Shirley Yang

Shirley has a passion for digital media, technology, and for people. She’s worked at many tech/media companies including  ,   to strategize and launch products across multiple platforms: web, mobile, TV, and game consoles.

At Fox Interactive Media, Beverly Hills, CA, Shirley project led several enterprise-wide technology initiatives and provided strategic direction to media company executives on benefits of new technology adoption to yield significant cost savings, efficiencies and impact to the bottom line in the areas of production, information technology, finance, and marketing. She helped create brand synergy across 10+ Fox business units: FoxNews, FoxSports, MySpace, IGN Entertainment, American Idol.com, etc. for corporate press sites.

At Sony Network Entertainment, San Diego, CA, Shirley contributed to developing product strategies and roadmaps for the PlayStation Network across multiple platforms: TV, PS3, PSP, BlueRay devices. In 2010, she moved to New York to join the Mobile Product team at Audible.com, an Amazon company, where she managed mobile apps for iOS, Android, Windows 7 and other connected devices as well as mobile web stores in the US, UK, and DE markets.

Shirley is currently on the product team for NBC Universal in New York, where she manages digital products for NBC Owned Television Stations. Her love for social aspects of the industry and communicating new technology to the masses also led her to her broadcasting career where she does on-camera reporting and hosting at tech conferences and industry events such as CES, NAB, E3, Comic-Con, MMA’s Global Mobile Marketing Forum, etc. She is also an on-camera reporter for bnetTV , bNET Communications, Inc.
